We met at BYU during our freshman year of college in 2006, and we've been madly in love ever since! We both lived in Deseret Towers and were even in the same ward... And yet we met though a mutual friend, haha! We're pretty sure it was destiny that brought us together ;)
After almost two years of dating, we were married in 2008, sealed in the Salt Lake temple, we welcomed our very first baby girl in December of 2011, and a baby boy in March 2014!
Karl graduated with a bachelor degree in physics in April 2015, and I graduated with my bachelor degree in public health in April, 2013! I may be crazy (school with a baby is so hard!), but I'm also considering going back to school to work on a masters degree.
All in all, the past nine (yikes!) years have been quite the adventure, with ups and downs like you wouldn't believe. We have had huge challenges and amazing blessings, and I am so grateful for all of it. Most especially, I am grateful for my wonderful Mr. Smith who has stuck by me through it all. I love him more than words can tell!
